The Ground Breaker Award recognizes businesses launched within the past two years that are making their mark through entrepreneurial drive, innovation, and early momentum.
Whether it’s a first-time founder or an experienced entrepreneur launching a new venture, this award celebrates those building something new and creating opportunities for the future.
What Makes a Ground Breaker?
To qualify, nominees must meet the following criteria.
Less than 2 Years Old
Have officially launched on or after January 1, 2025.
Edmonton Presence
Be based in or actively operating within the Edmonton business community.
Ambition & Drive
Demonstrate initiative commitment to building their business.
Early Momentum
Show meaningful progress, customer traction, or growth since launching.
Growth Potential
Demonstrate a clear vision and strong potential for future success.
Nominate a Ground Breaker
Nominate an outstanding leader who is pushing boundaries and shaping the future.
